I don’t offer business contracts. Some businesses, especially MSPs, or Managed Service Providers, are more than happy to offer huge, profit-driven business contracts with varying degrees of reliability, service quality, and dependability. Business contracts are a pure profit-driven model, commonly offered by sketchy local IT “support companies” with poor customer service, off-shore support, lack of accountability, and profit-focused business models. I feel that bullying businesses into a Managed Support contract based only on time and not on work performed is a poor model for IT support, so I will not offer contracts. My rate is a flat $175 hour, for as long as you need me: nothing more and nothing less.
